Na`Vi have started their campaign at ESL One Cologne with a convincing 16-6 victory over Copenhagen Wolves on de_inferno.
Na`Vi were on the verge of losing the all-important opening pistol round, but a triple by Sergey "starix" Ischuk when retaking the A bombsite in a two-on-four saved the day.
Second round saw Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev score a quad-kill from the A pit as the Danes went for a CZ75 buy, and were then forced to save, going down 0-3.
Denis "seized" Kostin's double in B made it 4-0 before the Wolves took out Na`Vi's A defense to get onboard, and were then saved by Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen's AWP heroics in the next round.
Down 2-4, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's team lost to Na`Vi's force buy with Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko getting two key frags in a two-on-three, and the ex-CIS team never looked back.
starix showed good form throughout Na`Vi's win
Na`Vi won six straight rounds, including a scary anti-eco round and a two-on-two by Zeus and Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács in the B bombsite to go up 10-2.
Copenhagen Wolves slowly took B to make it 3-10, but starix's triple in the next round made it 11-3, and the Danes couldn't afford a proper buy for the final round.
Down 3-12, doubles by René "cajunb" Borg and gla1ve gave the Danes some hope as they went up 2-0 in the second half, but it didn't last very long.
Na`Vi took out B in a three-on-three situation, and although Nico's AWP saved the Danes once, Na`Vi cruised to a 16-6 win, with starix adding one more triple. ESL One Cologne 2014Best of 1 Natus Vincere
